Currie hits form

Blue Gum TC State League player and Tennis Excellence coach, Sheridan Currie, has hit some end of year form at the WA State Grasscourt Tournament held at Robinson Park. The number three seed battled her way thru some tough matches to make the final where she lost narrowly to WA’s number one player Marisa Gianotti, 6/7 6/4 2/6. Sheridan also made the doubles semi-finals with fellow Blue Gum player Hannah Appleyard.
Sheridan has been offered a tennis scholarship in Texas, USA and is looking to make the move in January 2010. We wish her all the best of luck if she accepts the offer.
