Performance
(U18s)

Overview

The Performance Pathway at Tennis Excellence is designed for juniors who are ready to take their game to the next level. This invitation-only program focuses on fast-tracking player development through individual development plans, smaller training groups, and personalised coaching.

Our Performance programs run for 10 weeks each school term, offering an intensive environment where juniors are challenged technically and introduced to modified competition early on. As players progress, they move through various levels, with the ultimate goal of advancing to the Tournament Squad—a key stepping stone for players aiming for professional competition.

Tennis Excellence is proud to be the development ground for some of Western Australia’s top junior players. If your child has aspirations of reaching an elite tennis level, they should be part of one of our Performance programs. Join us and give your child the chance to reach their full potential!

Fast-Track

Our Fast-Track programs are designed for committed, talented young players looking to accelerate their tennis development. These programs provide exposure to other motivated players in smaller, focused groups where they are challenged both technically and tactically to push their game forward. Fast-Track players progress quickly to competition level and have the opportunity to advance into the upper-level Performance programs.

Fast-Track programs mirror the Hot Shots structure with the following age groups:

  • Fast-Track Blue (Ages 4-6)
  • Fast-Track Red (Ages 6-8)
  • Fast-Track Orange (Ages 8-10)
  • Fast-Track Green (Ages 10+)

These are invitation-only programs. If you’re interested in having your child participate, please speak to your Hot Shots coach or enquire for more information.

Junior Tournament Squads

The Tournament Squad Junior serves as the critical bridge between our Fast-Track Pathway classes and the Tournament Squad. Here, players are pushed by senior coaches to refine their skills and prepare for more competitive environments.
