Competitions Manager and Club Pro Coach Kuni Mase takes top spot for TE Cup Term 2.
The Term 2 edition of the TE Cup, Tennis Excellence’s flagship match play competition, delivered an exciting mix of intense rallies, emerging talent, and strong community spirit — all culminating in Coach Kuni Mase taking out the top spot in a closely contested field.
Held across various Tennis Excellence venues, the TE Cup saw players of all levels come together for weekly matches designed to boost their UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) while gaining valuable match experience.
This term, the depth and consistency of the competition stood out more than ever, with 24 players earning over six points, a clear testament to the growing strength and commitment of the TE Cup community.
We sat down with Competitions Manager and Club Pro Coach Kuni Mase, not just the event organiser but also this term’s TE Cup champion, to get his thoughts on the competition — both from a coach’s and a competitor’s perspective.

Q: Who were the Term 2 TE Cup Standouts and what is your message to them?
Kuni: “I’d like to congratulate Killian D and Pascaline M for finishing at the top of the leaderboard — a fantastic effort that earns them both entry fee refunds worth $150. They both brought great energy and consistency all term. To our top six players — Petr L, Benjamin L, Charlotte S, Sunbeom J, Brendan C, and Ameela P — well done on earning your UTR Power Accounts.
